Holidays For Everyone

The road tax has been bought. Tomorrow Kawasaki San will be back in action and on the way to his first bike club event for nearly two years, taking me and Matchgirl with him. Dornie is the destination, followed by Applecross on Saturday.

This means that, tonight, three cat carriers have been assembled, ready to take three unknowing moggies to the cat hotel/feline prison for the first time. Matchgirl is already trembling at the prospect, and not just because it involves three cats complaining all the way from The Rural Retreat to Kiltarlity.

I predict that The Fearless Ones will find their temporary holiday home an exciting new adventure. Maia may be less happy, as will be her servants/warders after three days of loud demands for food.

Cards Update: Picaresque Books, now in new and improved premises on Dingwall's High Street, is the latest outlet to stock my greetings cards. A fine reading selection and some colourful cards. What more could you ask for?
