Just when we thought the feline saga was near an end...
Yesterday Pandora was a clingy bundle of pathetic sadness. Today she was hungry, active and back to her boisterous self, as an ex-vole and an ex-great tit can testify. She was so full of health that Matchgirl decided to apply the liquid worming preparation we'd had on hold for a week.
So that's what got the blame when The Tabby Terror relapsed this evening. The treatment can have side effects but they shouldn't last long, we were warned, but Matchgirl can't keep away from Google and discovered several horror stories from cat-owners who'd also used the liquid wormer.
Chances are that Pandora will be fine in the morning. If not, Matchgirl will have another patient for Dr Vet who's already scheduled to administer Maia's monthly anti-allergic injection tomorrow.
Cats – who'd have them?
Music Update: I've been invited to become stand-in bassist for ex-Strawdog Michael's band, The Deeds, whose current incumbent is sometimes unavailable because he's also in another band. As The Strays are not over-burdened with gigs that shouldn't be a problem. And there's a possibility of me filling the bassman's slot in a third band. It's a long time since I've had a busy gig diary. Fingers crossed.
