Iceland is now a rapidly fading memory, saved from oblivion by the snaps I took there and the ones gradually appearing on Cathy's Flickr site, which are definitely worth a viewing. She and Paul saw a different part of the country after we parted in Reykjavik but the rugged Icelandic outlook is the same.
The snaps on my site have received a varying number of hits, but one above all others has proved popular. It's not a dramatic landscape of sea and mountain; it's not a colourful view of old Reykjavik; it's not a study of athletic excellence and determined faces in the half marathon.
No, the most viewed pictorial souvenir of our trip to Iceland is of the advert for the Penis Museum on the clock outside the district court – the Héraðsdómur Reykjavíkur. Some people's search history would make unsavoury reading.
As an antidote to such thoughts, here are the latest portraits of The Fearless Ones. They prove, as if we didn't already know, that cats can make themselves comfy everywhere.
