Raves For The Strays

Staff and customers of The Room are still talking about The Strays' amazing performance last Saturday, we hear, which just goes to prove what you can get away with – we all admitted to some dodgy playing. We should be better when we return on the 23rd, even though I'll miss two rehearsals by sunning myself in Menorca.
City Limits won't appear there, however. The management says we've asked them too many times. Their loss, we say. Better news came from the Bandstand Bar in Nairn where we've gathered a couple more gigs, in September and December. You'll find the up-to-date list on the Music page. We still have free space in our diary though, so if you need a band you know who to call.
Work on Chatterbox should have begun today but some decent weather lured me into the garden to do battle with weeds. The Pride also enjoyed the sun, especially Pandora who could be seen striding around the garden like a lion crossing the veldt in search of wildebeest.
