Martens, Moggies And Moodiness
by admin - 20:48 on 22 July 2015
Pine martens are still playing hard to get. A couple of nights ago two spent some time enjoying Nutella on the garden gate, so it's a shame that they visited close to eleven o'clock when there was no chance of capturing the moment with the Pentax.
A lone diner dropped by tonight, much earlier, and much to the consternation of many twittering birds, but he kept his back to the camera. Very frustrating. He must be taking lessons from Matchgirl and Maia.
That said, I have managed two more recent portraits of our most camera-shy moggy. Neither will win awards but it's always good to add to her portfolio.
And to prove that the Pentax does occasionally point at things other than cats and martens, here's a moody shot taken in low light inside our nearby ruined steading.
