In Demand In The Hebrides

City Limits' gig at the Portree Hotel must have made an impression. Its boss is so keen to have us back soon that he plans to rearrange existing bookings there to make a space for us. We've also been given two definite dates later in the year, promises of more, and there's talk of a slot at the Highland Games Dance Night in August. Most gratifying.
We're also waiting to hear back from Inverness venue The Gin Hut, formerly Cactus Jaks, about some dates there. If this goes on I'll soon be able to support Matchgirl, rather than her support me. She'd like that.
A video snippet has emerged of the band's most recent gig, at Johnny Foxes, featuring our two frontline stars and the inexplicably popular tune Wagon Wheel. I'm lurking in shadow, which is appropriate as the (I presume) phone that captured the footage wasn't able to also capture much bass sound.
Shame – I think I played that one right all the way through.
