Over The Moon

The winning continues, although this time Matchgirl's the lucky one.
The Media Awards evening at which Chatterbox triumphed featured a £10-a-strip raffle. That may sound a lot but prizes included flights for two to New York and weekends at posh hotels. Matchgirl, after checking which charities would benefit from drunken journalists chucking around their money, decided that a small investment was merited. (As did I.)
As the raffle was to be drawn in the small hours we'd left names and numbers on the back of our tickets. No call came yesterday so that seemed to be that.
But today an email to the Chatterbox editor informed me of the good fortune of one of our party and asked to where the prize should be posted.
Sadly, she'd not won tickets to New York. Her prize was a family ticket to a Caley Thistle home game. She took the news well and is even talking about using it. Whether she'll look as good in red and blue as she does in black and silver remains to be seen, although I've no doubt she'll be equally gorgeous.
