Publishing And A Puss
by Russell Turner - 22:31 on 23 November 2016
The world of publishing continues to be busy. The next Chatterbox is done bar the final tweaks and tomorrow I see Rosehaugh for the first time. The authors (two of them, anyway) have held copies in their hands and are happy, so that bodes well.
Now all we have to do is make the final preparations for the official launch, which involves a few press releases and such for the local media. There’s also a trip to Waterstone’s tomorrow where I hope a few sales will be made – we do have 1,000 copies to move.
Memories of a Ben Line Man continues to sell well; thirty-five copies will find new homes tomorrow and we’re now less than fifty from reaching four-figure sales. The reprint dilemma will arise soon.
So I’ve had a real excuse for lack of Pentax action, rather than just laziness, but I did catch one pleasing snap last night when I entered the bedroom to find Pandora on the bed, doing her impression of the world’s most relaxed cat. What a star.
