A Few Random Snaps
by Russell Turner - 15:37 on 13 July 2017
The Pentax didn’t make many appearances during my trip down south, its longest time out of the camera bag being to capture portraits of Oliver, already made public.
A couple of other hitherto unseen snaps have survived. One was of a random French Bulldog (Matchgirl’s a big fan) who was taking it easy outside a cafe in Malvern visited during my stay in Leamington Spa.
The second was of the lock-keeper’s cottage at Iffley in Oxford. Snappery was much more relaxing there than in the city itself.
But now I’m home and cats are in the lens again, including a rare shot of Willow and Pandora sharing a cushion without squabbling.
Maybe they’re on their best behaviour because Maia has not been feeling well the last couple of days. Today she’ll make a last-minute appearance at Dr Death’s where lethargy (even more than usual) and a very uncharacteristic lack of appetite will be investigated.
