A Day In The Warm
by Russell Turner - 19:57 on 14 November 2017
It’s not been a good day for cats. Matchgirl’s been out on business all day while I’ve been busy in the computer chair with Chatterbox, much to the annoyance of Willow who will never understand why she can’t snuggle as comfortably into my lap as she did when she was a kitten.
At least they can all be comfortable whilst being ignored, now that cold outdoor conditions have emphasised the benefit of our new boiler and upgraded living room radiators. Much bickering goes on in the battle for prime position, on the heat lamp shelf above the radiator, but the new source of warmth is big enough to be shared by all, as confirmed by this recent snap.
Capturing all three members of The Pride together is a rare event, so the fact that it happened twice in a few days is noteworthy. Food was involved, of course, the trio watching intently as Matchgirl prepared its evening feast.
Marathon Update: No running today but I can report on the first donations to my Virgin Moneygiving page. Thanks to Helga, Peter, BikerMike and Matchgirl. Cats and Moon Bears will appreciate your generosity.
