Just Another Moon
by Russell Turner - 16:43 on 01 February 2018
I thought we weren’t going to get a look at the blue supermoon, what with the weather being so dismal yesterday, but the clouds cleared long enough for Matchgirl, me and three disinterested cats to see the celestial superstar and for me to haul out the tripod and Pentax.
The resulting snap was no better than some I’ve taken in the past of non-supermoons, and worse than others – the sharpness isn’t great – but it was worth keeping, even if it was neither blue nor blood red. Photoshop could put that right, but that would be cheating.
Meanwhile, a quiet day with regard to business has allowed Matchgirl lots of online time to compare and contrast running and trail shoes ahead of her two forthcoming ultra marathons. The decision about whether purple is worth an extra £40 has yet to be taken.
