Maia the Goth (aka The Angry One) has discovered a new purpose in life since Dr Supervet's allergy inspection revealed that food plays no part in her condition. Our hefty cat (although not overweight, the vet declared) likes to lurk outside The Kittenry, waiting for The Fearless Ones to be released after mealtimes, following which she sneaks in to lick clean their dishes - something not allowed under the old regimen (and probably not now when Matchgirl finds out).
This seems only fair, for the first thing the kittens do is dash downstairs to do the same to hers. Variety is the spice of life.
Sadly, the time when all three can be fed in the same room at the same time is still a long way off. Maia can be trusted to let the kittens dine in peace but the mini moggies, certain winners of any eating race, would push her out of the way (despite her heft) as soon as they'd finished theirs.
Snappery Update: Dingwall Camera Club held its portfolio competition tonight, at which my collection of six garden birds finished third in the projected image section behind some ospreys and some pipe bands. It takes all sorts. As I've got no new snaps to show off, here's the judge's favourite of mine.
