Quiet Times
by admin - 17:02 on 21 February 2013
Suddenly there's little happening in and around The Rural Retreat, which is why these pages have been so quiet of late: no deer (that I could see on mist-shrouded Bushnell snaps); no martens (ditto); feline frolics as usual (although there's another deceased vole to report – Pandora's to blame again); and no snappery despite some fine days.
Blame the not-quite-award-winning Chatterbox, which I finally finished yesterday and which should hit the streets sometime next week unless the print gremlins strike. There's usually something happens. It's another packed edition so make sure you don't miss it.
Snappery of some sort will take place tomorrow (I'm determined) because days get busy again next week when I resume work on The Mystery Book (remember that?) whose Mystery Author prefers anonymity until his (or her) mighty tome is completed.
