All Set For 2014

Sales of The Bumper Book of Black Isle Snappery have slowed appreciably since Christmas, so our new promotional venture is set to begin at just the right time.

Any day now you'll be able to buy the Eilean Dubh 2014 calendar, which features twelve carefully chosen snaps, plus a thirteenth on the cover, presented in a handy A4 format and at a laughably low price (which is still to be confirmed – more news tomorrow).

I've not yet seen the fruits of our latest collaboration, but that will be remedied tomorrow because six boxes were delivered to Squirrel James's abode today. All being well, they'll make their first public appearance on Saturday at Cromarty market (11am-2pm – don't miss it). If you're distant from the Black Isle, don't fret – the calendar will soon be available to buy online.

Marathon Update: Recent silence on Marathon Matchgirl's blog will have left readers fearing the worst. Matchgirl, never one to look on the cheery side, feared even more. Thankfully, she returned from a pummelling by another member of her physio team tonight with the widest smile I've seen for some time. She doesn't have a stress fracture; her marathon dream continues; we will go to London.

With luck, the mess caused by the post-funeral riots will have been cleared up by then. Ding dong...
