Crime And Butterflies
by admin - 23:03 on 27 August 2013
Life's been uneventful for quite some time, but this could change tomorrow. Tonight, as instructed, I phoned the Dingwall Sheriff Court hotline and learned that potential jurors cited for a week's civic duty should report there in the morning at nine forty-five prompt.
It would be exciting to help resolve a great legal battle, right a terrible injustice or put a criminal mastermind behind bars, but that's not likely at the sheriff court. Or in Dingwall. A bar room rumpus is probably the most dramatic event we'll face, unless there's been a fracas. We shall see.
I won't be able to blame my court room call-up for stalling my snappery career as the Pentax continues to be hugely underused. The best I've managed lately is an addition to my very slowly growing butterfly collection – a Green-veined White. Three other species proved too restless. Maybe I should concentrate on snails.

That is a very good picture of a butterfly.
I hope you get an interesting case to listen to.
