Normal Service Is Resumed

Did you miss me? For a while there was nothing to write about, then I discovered that my website had gone blank, even for its owner. That’s sorted out now. Obviously.
Not that there’s much to write about, still. City Limits had only one gig this month, with disastrous consequences for my wallet. And the six in the diary for December has fallen by one following a cancellation by the venue (a block booking pulled out) and another is looking shaky (lack of ticket sales). Does no-one want fun at Christmas any more?
At least I’ve had time to complete the latest edition of Chatterbox, which should be on the street by the end of the week.
My athletic career continues to tick along. Yesterday I completed my longest run since t’ Yorkshire Rain Festival, covering 5+ miles in 60 minutes at a nicely smooth pace. If I can keep finding that pace I’ll feel like I’m finally getting the hang of this running thing. We’ll see.
Equally good news is that Matchgirl’s recovery continues (touch wood etc) although she refuses to get excited by it in case The Running Gods smite her for being too optimistic. You can’t be too careful.
