Just Around The Corner

Spring can't be far away – this morning I spied the first snowdrop buds peeking through the still uncleared litter of autumn leaves that carpets The Rural Retreat's lawn.
Sadly, I had no opportunity to enjoy them at length, or search for more, because I had to spend the day inside GNoME HQ.
I escaped just before the five o'clock stampede, at a time when there was still a glimmer of daylight left. Winter will soon be behind us.
