Just A Few More Days

by admin - 22:48 on 02 March 2011

Today's the day that The Bumper Book of Black Isle Snappery should have been officially unveiled at Eilean Dubh, Fortrose, in a blaze of paparazzi flashbulbs.

But the red carpet remains unrolled, our tuxedos are still in the wardrobe and today was just like any other at GNoME HQ.

However, the great day is not far away. Today, Norman and Co finished reprinting the covers. Tomorrow, covers and pages will be sent to Yorkshire to be bound together. The completed books are expected here at the end of next week.

A new launch date has been pencilled in, to be made public when we're certain there's been no reoccurrence of The Great Binding Disaster. This can't come a moment too soon, for eager readers pester Andrew every hour to find out when they can buy their copy. That's what he says, anyway.

Further promising sales news comes via Marten James, who's been told that the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society will stock The Bumper Book in its North Kessock premises this summer. It won't be long before we're top of The Sunday Times bestseller list.
