A Date at the Market
by admin - 19:47 on 16 March 2011
We may soon be able to put The Great Binding Disaster behind us. The latest progress report on The Bumper Book of Black Isle Snappery reveals that we should have it in our hands on Friday afternoon.
So its proud authors today decided to live dangerously and book a table at the Culbokie Community Market on Saturday to put The Great Work before the public for the first time.
It will be a small table, for the market was fully booked when I rang the organiser tonight, but she seemed keen to squeeze us in even though I warned her there's a good chance we'll have to cancel on Friday evening if the books haven't arrived.
So get along to Findon Hall in Culbokie on Saturday from 10am to noon. You'll find us somewhere between the seed potatoes and the organic veg.
A proper launch is still planned at Eilean Dubh Restaurant, although we won't announce a date until the books have arrived and been approved by the head of quality control (that's Andrew). However, if you keep clear the first Wednesday in April you won't be far wrong.
