The Lure of Nutella

Mystery Marten can't have been overly traumatised by her close encounter with the neighbourhood bully – the rest of her food had gone this morning, which means she must have sneaked back later in the evening to finish what she'd started.
It takes more than a territorial moggy to come between a marten and her Nutella.
We've still to see martens in daylight this year but the time can't be far away; last week Marten James' camera trap snapped woodland diners in the twilight so The Rural Retreat should soon play host to daytime visitors.
Book Update: The Bumper Book of Black Isle Snappery continues to be snapped up. More than half of the first print run has been sold and some deliveries are still to be made. Which makes it rather frustrating that Norman has yet to provide the promised quote for the next print run. I feel another visit coming on.
