Last-minute Activities

Snappery didn't happen today, despite my being up early – if not so bright – thanks to a hungry cat. The completion of work on the third edition of The Bumper Book filled the morning, followed by garden activity during a break in the weather. This is a holiday?
But the work was worth it. A disk crammed with digital excellence is on its way to Tigger at Findhorn and the lawn looks good. It's a shame we won't get the benefit.
The cat-sitters arrived this evening and were thanked in advance with a visit to Eilean Dubh Restaurant where I had the unsettling experience of watching two diners at the other side of the room who pored over the premises' copy of The Bumper Book, clearly enthralled by what they saw.
They didn't buy one, though. Perhaps the restaurant's stock has yet to be delivered. I didn't inquire.
There'll be another early start tomorrow before departure to God's Own Country, where bloggery may be erratic. I'll do my best.
Marten Update: Still no sightings although food continues to be taken. Maybe roaming Romeo's to blame, or the two crows that have taken to visiting the garden in the past couple of weeks. Most frustrating.
