Indifference Thy Name Is Cat

Matchgirl returned from her latest Shetland jaunt today, a day later than usual because she's so important and indispensable.
Bess, she believes, is not impressed. The jet-setter is convinced that our moody moggy doesn't love her any more and has transferred affection to me because of my recent ever-presence in The Rural Retreat.
Not that I've seen much more than the usual offhandedness from our feline friend. The truth, as any cat-carer knows, is that a hungry moggy will love anyone with a tin-opener.
Snappery Update: The Pentax is still shamefully underused at the moment, but I did get out a couple of days ago when the sun was low and my eye was caught by some rickety fence posts. With a bit more effort there's a decent snap to be had here. I'll be back
