The Bushnell did sterling service last night, capturing martens of various sizes, a hedgehog and a cat. No badgers, though. Most excitingly, it recorded its first colour snap of a marten, just after 6am when there was light in the garden.
The colour images, being all blurs and rear views, weren't worth keeping but they mean I'll have a few early mornings behind the Pentax when Matchgirl and I return from London. Assuming we get there.
Bess continues to be perky but has gone off her food again. Matchgirl will find leaving her difficult, even with Auntie Soo and Uncle Tony in loco parentis.
If we do get away, the Pentax will stay at home – crowds and city scenes don't get my imagination going. Here's something much more restful, both caught in the garden.
