The latest Bassman Book is in the shops now! Or, to be accurate, shop – the village Spar is the only outlet for Rosemarkie People and Places until proud author Freda gets around the others on her list to twist arms and beg favours.
Not that she'll need to do much twisting – less than three hours after her first book delivery the Spar's boss was on the phone to ask for more. Another Black Isle bestseller could be on the way.
The launch party will take place at Gordon Hall, Rosemarkie, from 2-4pm on Saturday May 25. Freda promises free tea and cakes, so what have you got to lose? You could even buy a signed copy from the author for a mere £15.
If that's too far to travel, the book's available online through this website (as Freda doesn't have one of her own).
Snappery Update: The Pentax has seen little recent action because I've been busy with the forthcoming summer edition of Chatterbox. I'll rectify things as soon as possible.
Moggy Update: The killing continues. Pandora is a devil in disguise. Sometimes cats aren't nice.
Marten Update: Still no daylight sightings. I blame cats.
